In 1811, the Township of Thoralby contained 310 inhabitants, of whom 153 were male and 157 were female. There were 62 houses, of which 61 were occupied and 1 was unoccupied. The main occupation was in Agriculture 28 families, Other occupations was 26 families and Trades etc. there were 12 families.
