The civil Parish of Thoralby (entire) Rural Sanitary District of Aysgarth (part of) Ecclesiastical Parish of Aysgarth (part of) Boundary. The whole of the civil Parish of Thoralby, contents comprising Gayle Ing, Barker, Cote Bottom, Blind Sike, Howsike, Swina Cote, Little Burn, Townhead House and Cottages, the village of Thoralby, Warnford, Riddings and Spickles. The whole in the Parliamentary Division of Richmond. The following information was recorded about each person: forename and surname; relationship to head of house; condition; marital status; age (separate columns for males and females); number of rooms occupied if less than five; occupation; employment: employer, employed or neither; where born; county/place; name of street, place or road, and name or number of house and whether blind, deaf-and-dumb, lunatic, imbecile or idiot.

 

The whole of the Township of Thoralby contained 202 inhabitants, of whom 101 were male and 101 were female. There were 59 houses, of which 47 were occupied and 12 were unoccupied.
