I am in the process of finding out who served in WW2 from Bishopdale, at present the following people have been identified, Tom McGregor (1918-2001, see below:

Tom McGregor was a farm labourer at West Lane house, Newbiggin in the 1939 ID Register, his parents Hugh & Mary McGregor were at Newgill, Bishopdale, see below.
