The annotated map below shows the houses of Newbiggin: Street Head Inn and Cross Lanes School (now a Bunkhouse), both within Newbiggin Township. I have also annotated Forelands, which although in Burton-cum-Walden Township, children living there attended Cross Lanes School, being nearer, rather than West Burton School.
